Two things separate this from the thinner rope set: the weave is a wider Teslin rope over soft EVA foam, so the arms and backs feel padded rather than firm, and the seat cushions are 7.1 inches instead of 6.7. The manufacturer is unusually honest about the consequence — the whole thing sits low, in the lounge-chair register rather than the dining register. If you like sinking in, that is the appeal. If you have knees that object to getting up from low seating, that is a reason to look at a taller set instead.
