Jocoevol
Returns & Warranty
Two different things, handled in two different places. Knowing which one you have saves a week.
Returns are handled where you bought it
Because ordering and payment sit with the retail partner, so do returns. Their window, their return label, their refund. Furniture usually falls under a return policy separate from the everyday one — large items may carry a restocking or return-shipping charge, and an assembled piece is often no longer returnable at all. Read the return terms on the listing before you cut the first carton open.
Practical consequence: if you are unsure whether a piece will fit or suit the room, unpack it carefully and keep the packaging until you are sure. Cartons that have been opened neatly and can be repacked make returns simple. Cartons that have been torn apart do not.
Missing or damaged parts are handled here
You do not need to return an entire dresser because one drawer front arrived scuffed or a bag of cam locks was short. Write to [email protected] with:
- the model name as it appears on this site or on the carton label;
- the part number from the instruction sheet's parts list;
- a photograph of the damage, and of the carton if the damage looks like transit damage;
- your order reference from the retail partner.
Replacement panels and hardware go out at no charge within the warranty period. Hardware moves quickly; a large panel travels as freight and takes longer.
What the warranty covers
Jocoevol furniture is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use, from the date of delivery. That covers a drawer slide that fails, a weld that separates, a cam lock that strips under correct assembly torque, a frame that racks despite being built square, and a finish that lifts on its own.
It does not cover:
- normal wear — fabric pilling, cushion softening, the patina a wood-look finish takes on in sunlight;
- damage from over-tightening, forced assembly, or assembly out of sequence;
- use beyond the stated weight or load limits, which are printed on every product page;
- outdoor pieces left uncovered through a winter, or indoor pieces used outdoors;
- modification — cutting, drilling, painting or wall-mounting in a way the instructions do not describe;
- damage in transit, which is a carrier claim rather than a warranty claim (see Shipping).
Anti-tip hardware is not optional
Every dresser, chest and tall cabinet in the line ships with a wall strap. Any case taller than it is wide, and every piece in a room a child uses, must be anchored. A warranty claim on a tipped unanchored dresser will not succeed, and that is the least important reason to fit the strap.
Timelines
We answer parts and warranty mail within two business days. Small hardware normally ships within a week; panels and frame components depend on stock and can take two to three. If a piece has been discontinued and no equivalent part exists, we will say so plainly rather than leaving a request open.
