Four seats is the number most back patios can actually hold without the furniture becoming the patio. This set splits that four across a two-seater sofa and a pair of armless chairs, which is the arrangement that lets you push pieces apart when the family is around and pull them back into a square when it is just two of you. The frame is coated steel under PE rattan weave, the cushions are thick PP foam under 200 g olefin covers, and the leg knobs adjust — which matters more than the brochure suggests, because almost no paver patio is truly flat.

How it lives in the room

Level before you cushion

Assemble the frames bare, set them where they will live, and turn the leg knobs until nothing rocks. Doing this with cushions in place hides the wobble — foam absorbs a quarter-inch of tilt and then hands it back to you every time someone shifts their weight.

Set the conversation distance

Seats facing each other work best about four feet apart, measured cushion edge to cushion edge; further and people raise their voices, closer and knees collide over the table. The armless chairs are the ones to move, not the sofa.

Weather routine

Olefin sheds rain and dries quickly, but water sitting in the seam between cushion and frame is what eventually smells. Stand the cushions on edge after a storm, or tip the whole seat forward for an hour — that is the whole maintenance programme.

Before you order

The table top is glass. On an exposed roof deck or a coastal patio, either weight it, store it through the windy months, or plan for the day a gust catches an umbrella and finds it.
