The published dimensions on this one are worth reading before the delivery slot is booked. The sofa is 51.9 inches wide and 30.7 inches deep; each armchair is 19.1 inches wide and just as deep; the table is 39.4 by 23.4 inches and sits 12.6 inches high. Set out in a U, that is roughly a nine-by-eight-foot island of furniture once you leave walking room — more than most people picture when they read “five-piece”. The trade for that footprint is genuine lounge depth: 6.7 inches of high-resilience foam under you, 6.3 inches behind, olefin rope on the arms and backs, and a TPU-coated Teslin shell that sheds water rather than storing it.

How it lives in the room

Chalk it before you build it

Mark the sofa and both chairs on the ground with tape and walk the gap. Thirty inches of seat depth plus knees needs about three feet of clear floor in front of each piece; that is the measurement that decides whether the set fits, not the width.

Build in the right order

Frames first, all bolts finger-tight, then square everything and tighten in sequence. A rope-back frame that is torqued down out of square puts the strain on the weave instead of the steel, and the weave is the part you cannot easily fix.

First week

Cushions arrive compressed and creased from the carton. Lay them flat in the sun for an afternoon rather than trying to work the folds out by hand — the foam recovers on its own and the covers relax with it.

Before you order

A 330 lb per-seat rating is a static figure. It does not cover someone dropping into the seat from standing, and it does not cover sitting on the arms — that is the joint that gives first on every rope-arm sofa.
