White changes what the lighting does. A black cabinet swallows the RGB strips and shows the colour only on the objects; white panels bounce it, so the whole case glows in whatever hue is selected and the figures inside pick up a cast of it. That is an argument for warm white or a pale colour as the default here, and an argument for the white version if the cabinet has to disappear into a light wall rather than frame a collection against a dark one.

How it lives in the room

White panels tint the whole case

Pick a colour and look at the figures, not the cabinet. Deep blues and reds reflect off the white back and sides and land on everything inside; a low, warm setting shows the collection as it actually looks. Set that as the resting state in the app and keep the colour cycling for when there is an audience.

Two drawers hide the clutter

The drawers in the middle of the case are the only closed storage here, so they take boxes, certificates, spare stands and the remote. Keeping that out of the glass tiers is what lets a display cabinet look like a display rather than a cupboard with a window in it.

Dust is the real maintenance

Glass doors cut dust to almost nothing, which means the shelves get cleaned once or twice a year instead of weekly. When that happens, do one tier at a time and photograph it first: a four-tier case is easier to put back from a picture than from memory.

Before you order

Pale cabinets show scuff marks along the base and around the door edges where fingers land. The push-to-open front helps, since nothing is gripped, but a cloth kept nearby for the lower panel is worth more here than on the black version.
