This is the size that covers a small outdoor room in one piece, which is the whole reason to choose it. A single sheet has no seams, and seams are where artificial grass looks artificial — the lines catch light differently and grit collects in them. At just under eight by nine feet it will lay wall to wall on most balconies with a trim on two sides. High-density PP fibres in four different shades, on a vertical-drainage rubber backing that sheds water and pet waste.

How it lives in the room

Template first

Lay the roll out and mark the cuts with chalk on the backing before touching a knife. Balconies are almost never square, and a paper or cardboard template of the awkward corner saves the piece.

Cut from the back

Always cut on the backing side with a sharp blade and a straight edge, one shallow pass and then a second. Cutting through the pile from the front leaves a visible chewed line.

Let it relax

Rolled turf keeps its curl for a day or two. Lay it in the sun, weight the corners and leave it before final trimming — cut while curled and the edges will not sit flat afterwards.

Before you order

Landscape nails and seam tape are not included. On a hard surface you may not need them; on soil you certainly will, so add them to the same order.
