Sixty tiles at a foot square is sixty square feet, which covers a small patio, a whole balcony or the working half of a garage. They are rigid polypropylene rather than soft PVC, standing on 17 mm pegs so water runs underneath instead of pooling on top. No glue, no tools: align the tabs and press. Black is the finish that hides a garage floor and disappears under garden furniture.

How it lives in the room

Sweep first, always

Grit under a raised tile grinds. Five minutes with a brush before laying is worth more than anything you do afterwards.

Start from the most visible edge

Then lift and rinse each season

Before you order

Rigid polypropylene handles weight and UV well and is less forgiving of an uneven base than the soft PVC tiles — on a badly cracked slab it will rock. Level the worst dips first.
