Six by ten is the proportion that suits a run rather than a square: down one side of a deck, along a path, or as the green stripe in a courtyard that is otherwise all paving. Sixty square feet, made from high-density PP fibres blended in four shades so it does not read as a single flat green, on a rubber backing with grooves and holes so water and pet waste drain vertically instead of sitting on top. It installs on soil, concrete or hard flooring.

How it lives in the room

Level the base first

Turf follows whatever is underneath it exactly — every hollow shows, every ridge wears. Half an hour raking and compacting a base is what decides whether this looks laid or thrown down.

Run the pile one way

All artificial grass has a direction; the same piece looks two different greens depending which way you view it. Decide the direction from the main viewpoint before you fix anything down.

Fix the edges

A long rectangle lifts at the ends first. Nails into soil or a bead of adhesive at the perimeter on hard surfaces keeps the edges down, and the edges are what everybody trips on.

Before you order

Keep it away from concentrated reflections — low-emissivity glass, mirrored panels and stainless steel can focus sunlight enough to melt synthetic fibres. That is a real failure mode, not a disclaimer.
